The two, Mr and Mrs George Asiba, were found in their dimly illuminated bedroom at their Nyabomite Village home in Bogichora, Nyamira County with the husband's body dangling from the ceiling of the semi-permanent gabble house and the wife's lifeless body lying flat in a pool of blood on their matrimonial bed; arms resting on her chest and the ankle of her right leg resting on the left foot, as if she was at peace after the bizarre murder that left residents reeling in shock. Man who stole church speakers meets bitter death

  By Correspondent A man who stole sound equipment from a church in Nyamira met his bitter death Tuesday morning after angry villagers hacked him to death. The angry mob torched five houses and lynched the suspect, Nyatigo Achoki, 50, and another person believed to be his accomplice. A third suspect who was caught in Achoki's house was beaten senseless and was rescued by police who arrived at the scene at Metembe Village in Mborogo, Nyamira South. He is fighting for his life at Nyamira County Referral Hospital where he was admitted with critical injuries. Nyamira County Director of Medical Services Dr Syrus Ayunga confirmed the patient was undergoing treatment with critical injuries. "The doctors are doing everything possible to rescue his life," Ayunga said. Medics at the Nyamira County Referral Hospital are in shock after birthing a baby with abnormal defects. The baby had six fingers in each of its four limbs; abnormally big eye sockets and a single nasal opening. The baby’s face too seemed swollen. According to a medic who sought anonymity because of confidentiality of the parents and adherence to the hospital’s communication protocols, the baby was born on Saturday to parents with three other ‘normal’ kids. Unfortunately, the newborn had only one day to live. Matiang'i said on Sunday at Isinya where he helped raise funds for the planned construction of a Seventh-Day Adventist Church headquarters, that Kenyans will start paying lesser for electricity after effecting drastic changes by State. Matiang'I said the Government was planning to make a major overhaul at the Kenya Power Company that is mandated with distributing electricity to the entire country.
