Speeding car drops parcels of mutilated body

By Stanwicks Police in Nyamira are investigating an incident where a speeding car dropped parcels of a totally mutilated human body at Konate Junction, Nyamira County. Road users and residents of the busy Kisii-Ikonge-Nyamira Town junction are reeling in shock after an unmarked car dropped two white parcels which were discovered to be containing a body of a badly mutilated male adult. The dismembered body parts were stashed in two white gunny bags and wrapped in black and red polythene bags respectively. Nyamira South Subcounty Commander Moses Kirong said the black and red polythene bags were dropped at at around 10pm by a speeding vehicle. Kirong said upon examination, the head was missing from the body parts. "The head could not be found from among the badly mutilated body. We have instituted investigations on the incident and we hope to unravel the murder," Kirong said. Nyamira County Commissioner Amos Mariba who addressed journalists through his social media pages said the directorate of Criminal Investigations were already on the incident and were piecing the incident together in bid to unravel the incident. "Its a cold blood incident which the DCI has already instituted investigations upon. We promise speedy action and the mysterious killers will be known," Mariba said. The body parts were moved to Nyamira County Referral Hospital where further processing and investigations will be done.
